My love of horses started at the age of about five when I used to pretend that I was an out-rider for the horse-drawn milk-float (yes, they were around in my early days!!).
The milkman got so fed up with me that he finally invited me onboard and allowed me to take hold of the reins; well, that was the start of my love affair with horses.
I thoroughly enjoy my work, finding it endlessly rewarding and fulfilling. I am constantly learning, too. I bring my varied talents, a sharp eye and much hands on experience to the equine world.
Over the years I have owned, bred and enjoyed riding and driving horses. For the past 14 years I have worked full-time treating them and their owners. Occasionally I find the origin of the problem is with the rider, which can be transferred to their horse.
By re-balancing the human you allow the horse to re-balance itself.
I now would like to pass on some of my skills to riders so they can treat their own horses. To this end I have embarked on a series of seminars and workshops that are for the benefit of both horse and rider. To find out more take a look at the workshop page.
I have a private complimentary health consultancy which is for both riders and none riders alike. I always consider a problem from a holistic point of view to discover why they have this problem. Together we will look at lifestyle changes to improve all round health. I work on the premise that it takes two to get a positive result - help from me and input from the client will bring about positive change. I may use a mix of Shiatsu, nutrition, hypnotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming, thought field therapy to stimulate change for the better.
I also am successful in helping clients to rebuild confidence in their life or achieve a goal they may want, either in their personal life or as a competition rider.
